Arthur Amys called the meeting to order. All board members were present. Arthur Amys made a motion to approve the August 9, 2018 regular meeting minutes, Dennis Hill seconded. Motion carried.
Closed session for contract negotiation. 6:30 -7:00pm, Regular meeting started at 7:00pm

Comprehensive Plan Committee – No Report

Sam Anderson Road Rail Road Crossing have not sent a bill, yet we are still working on the road. When road crew is done Gary Kane will send a bill to Jackie Macewicz. The Sate is still looking for a used Crossing arm system.

Milt Olson was present to request a driveway variance for a property on County Rd P. it does not meet the width requirement of 300 feet. Arthur Amys moved to approve the variance, Mark Liebaert seconded. Motion carried.

Gerald Kroll was present to request the Town of Amnicon send a letter to Stanley Dzikonski requesting he follows State Statues in building the remainder of a fence on their adjoining properties. Arthur Amys made a motion to have a letter sent requesting Stanley Dzikonski follow the Sate of Wisconsin Stats. Chapter 90 section 90.10-90.13. Mark Liebaert seconded. Motion carried.
Ivan Pavlovich was present to request a conditional use permit for an accessory structure(gazebo). Arthur Amys made a motion to approve the permit, Mark Liebaert seconded. Motion carried.
Arthur Amy moved to approve a resolution to borrow $179,500 from the Board of Commissioners of Public Lands. Supervisor Mark Liebaert read the resolution. Supervisor Dennis Hill seconded. Motion carried by unanimous decision.

FEMA will visit us to set up a plan going forward with the flood damage. We are still compiling figure initial estimates where $ 46,500. The payments once approved are 80% Federal, 12% Sate and the Town of Amnicon 12.5%

Douglas County has been working on the budget. There will not be a wheel tax. Sales tax revenues where up but still not at the projected level.

Joe Doskey was present, he demonstrated a machine to do road grading in between the times the grader runs. Cost $19,5oo- $22,000
